  • Really H.

I would totally come back if in the area. Its a great little joint that feels like it should be on the beach. The Kung Fu taco was awesome!!

Pretty good. Friendly staff. Speedy service. Food not excellent but not bad. I got the burrito bowl with green chili pork. They were happy to customize my order with less rice and more lettuce. Pork was savory, spicy, juicy but not soggy and served piping hot. The rice and black beans were fine. Best thing about this meal was the sharp contrast between the hot (temperature) fillings and the ice cold toppings (lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and cheese). Good fast food, a few steps above Chipotle and miles above Taco Bell for about the same price. I'd come here again.

Amazing place!! Came here with family during vacation and this place was out of this world. The UFO's were stellar, the chips and guacamole were solid! So the good was great but the service was amazing... Don't come here if you are in a hurry since there are limited cooks but the wait well worth it!! The big thing that kicked this over the edge was that they cleaned the grill prior to cooking out food...very rarely done and highly appreciated!! Also they offer amazing sauces!! There #10 and ghost pepper sauce are killer!! Great flavor but not too spicey!! So if your on vaca or a local... This place is out of this world and the UFO has been sighted! Enjoy and pass the hot sauce!! Cheers!

I love eating here because of the freshness everything has. The veggie burrito bowl is huge and full of flavor, but my favorite is the UFO with shrimp and "The Works". This location has never disappointed.

Expect an awesome atmosphere when you walk into the taco shop known as Burrito Works. Surfboards, aluminum siding, wood/straw motifs, and a plethora of beer paraphernalia line the interior of this eatery. The simple, laid back arrangement reminds you that this place is perfect for both family and friends. I've been here once already, and the experience was more than enough to return and invite the rest of the crew to join us. Their offerings remind me of choices from Taco Bell and other fast food restaurants, but the way it's prepared is how I've always wanted it (but never experienced). I ordered the U.F.O. last time, and I've ordered it again today. It's similar to a crunchwrap supreme from Taco Bell, but it tastes and looks phenomenally better. The ingredients are fresh, the portion is huge, and each bite makes you anticipate the next. Also, their beer specials are inviting, with a happy hour that gives you free P.B.R. if you order more than $7 off food, and in general they have well-priced brews, available by pint or pitcher. A personal anecdote: The staff here is super accommodating and flexible. Both times we came, and a large group at that, we requested that they clean the grill for us to keep the meat and veggies from cross contaminating. We are all strict vegetarians, so their willingness to honor our dietary needs was absolutely spectacular. A special shout out to the entire staff for their excellence, especially Jess & Patty! Our family can't wait to come back again (and again)!

Food was tasty good! Shrimp quesadillas was fresh: had a touch of garlic. My friend's chicken quesadilla was described as 'rich'. It looks like a fun place for singles to go to watch football (although tvs weren't really large) -it has cheap beer & wooden tables. I'd return for lunch if I'm the area.

Best fish tacos in Palm Coast! It's right up there with Golden Lion's fish tacos (2 different sauces.) Try them you won't be disappointed! I always take out of towers here! If you like fresh food! This is the place.

Not my favorite Taco Shop, but it's the easiest one to get to/park at. The UFOs don't seem to be quite as good as the ones from the stores by the beach or up in St. Augustine, but they're still delicious.

Stopped in with a friend...the place was smokey, no ventilation. Got the "UFO" paid $1.60 for a small amount of Quesa dip. "UFO" was ok, just can't get this stink off of me. Overpriced and dirty, think of another place to eat. Thank you.

I drive over the road and I used to go to California. There were two places I stopped to eat authentic burritos, one was in Arizona and the other California. I thought I would never find a place that has authentic Mexican like out west. I was wrong this place is awesome .I had the burrito with shredded beef real beef not taco bell crap. It was stuffed needed two hands, excellent flavor and staff were friendly. I'll be going there from now on.

Very nice place. The food was fresh tasting & good. The portions are a little small, so stick to the Quesadillas, but everything was good. Nice surfer-type music.

The food is great and it's a fair price, but the staff and the prep area didn't seem too clean.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
